From celebrity tribute acts to classical plays, the Forum Theatre has a plethora of events just waiting to be discovered:

  • Evita

Following their 2024 performance of Fiddler on the Roof, Our Star Theatre Company is returning to Malvern to Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s beloved Evita. 

Enjoy the story of Eva Peron’s rise from poverty to power, accompanied by iconic songs including Don’t Cry For Me Argentina, Oh What A Circus and Another Suitcase in Another Hall.

When: Wednesday 2nd to Saturday 5th of July. Evenings at 7pm / Saturday Matinee at 2pm.

  • Armonico: Rachmaninov Vespers by Candlelight

Rachmaninov fanatics will love this live vocal rendition of some of the composer’s most beloved works.

Sit in candlelight and listen to the most gorgeous choral music, uncovering the beauty of unaccompanied voices.

When: Tuesday 8th of July at 8pm.

  • ELO Experience

Jeff Lynne and the Electric Light Orchestra dominated the 70s and 80s with their pop-classical fusion music and legendary melodies. 

Now, you can sit back and enjoy their top hits being performed live by a fantastic tribute band in Malvern. 

When: Friday 11th of July at 7.45pm.

  • Malvern Theatres Young Company: Brontë

Malvern Theatres Young Company returns to the stage with Brontë, Polly Teale’s powerful reimagining of the lives of the three famous sisters and their troubled brother, Branwell.

Witness this compelling portrayal exploring the turbulent bonds and creative drive that cemented the Brontë name forever in the canon of English literature.

When: August 5th to August 9th. Evenings at 7pm / Wednesday & Saturday matinees at 2pm.

  • The Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company – The Pirates of Penzance

Delight in witty dialogue, catchy melodies, and whimsical characters as The Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company returns to the stage with The Pirates of Penzance.

Directed by John Savournin and featuring Simon Butteriss as the Major-General, this production promises plenty of laughter and raucous entertainment.

When: Saturday 6th  of September at 2.30pm & 7.30pm.

  • Murder at Midnight

Written by Torben Betts, directed by Philip Franks and produced by the award-winning Original Theatre, Murder at Midnight is destined to keep you on the edge of your seat while promising a few laughs along the way. 

Strap in for this thrilling murder mystery that’ll keep you guessing right until the clock strikes midnight. Starring Jason Durr, Susie Blake and Max Bowden. 

When: October 7th to October 11th. Evenings at 7:30pm / Wednesday & Saturday matinees at 2:30pm.

Film buffs unite!

Inside the Malvern Theatre Cinema, they ensure you won’t miss any of this season’s blockbusters while helping you unearth a few hidden gems. 

Like in cinemas everywhere around the world, Malvern Theatre Cinema will be showcasing all the latest big box office entertainment. From F1, starring Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, and Damson Idris, to Jurassic World: Rebirth (Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, and Mahershala Ali) and 28 Years Later (Jodie Comer, Ralph Fiennes, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson). 

However, if you prefer something more niche, Malvern Theatres offers a selection of indie and art house productions alongside live theatre screenings, such as NT Live: Inter Alia, starring Oscar-nominated actress Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl, Saltburn).

  • Little Theatre Makers

These fun-filled drama classes will give your 5–7-year-olds the chance to explore their imaginations and make the most of their creativity. 

Through games and interactive activities, these classes will explore the vast world of drama, musical theatre and dance.

When: Mondays, 12th May to 14th July (No session 26th May), 4.15pm-5pm.

  • Make Your Mark Xtra

This fantastic workshop has been developed specifically for adults with learning disabilities. Through various art mediums, participants will be encouraged to explore their creativity and spend time with others.

Combine your passion for musical theatre with your desire to get fit with these musical theatre workouts.

If you’re looking to add a bit of Broadway magic to your workout routine, this ought to do the trick.

These movement classes have been created for little ones aged 4 and under to enjoy a boogie with their carers!
