Our team wanted to create a casual, dog-friendly dining space where both locals and visitors to Malvern can come and enjoy the finest Asian-fusion and Mediterranean food across brunch, lunch and dinner.
The Lantern can accommodate over 100 diners and is not only a place for casual dining but will also be a spot to hold more of our exciting events and team-building activities.

Our Brand New Dining Space is Now Open!
At The Mount Pleasant Hotel, we are delighted to announce the opening of our brand new on-site Malvern dining space where you can stop by for food, drinks and snacks. We’re not just a hotel in Malvern, we’re constantly trying to add extra enjoyable features and places for our guests to relax!
Our Vision
Our team at Mount Pleasant wanted to create a casual indoor/outdoor space where both locals and visitors to Malvern can come and enjoy a meal after a hike, a lunchtime get-together or a spot of afternoon tea with friends. Over the last 12 months, our contractors have been hard at work turning our vision into a reality and we are delighted with the results!
The Lantern can currently accommodate over 100 diners and is not only a place for casual dining but will also be a spot to hold more of our exciting events and team building activities.

The Lantern Bar & Kitchen

If you’re out walking the dog, or pottering about the town, our outdoor terrace area is the ideal place to stop off for a delicious meal or a drink in the great outdoors!
Our Opening Hours
The Lantern is open between Tuesday and Sunday. If you want to join us, you are not required to make a booking – simply pop in between 10am – 9pm Tuesday to Saturday.
We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

We are perfectly located for a post or pre-walk drink or snack! This is why we’re proud to be recognised as being a dog friendly, and walker friendly establishment.
